16.5 Acres In Dayton Tennessee

A Few Sticks Are All It Takes?

The header beam for our cathedral ceiling is up!

From the road, it looks like half the roof line is in place. We were really excited to see how it was coming along.

And boy it is high up there! The header is being held by what only looks like a couple of twigs!

This was another time of trusting in our builders. I was a bit nervous to touch any of these supports in case the whole thing came down! I am sure it was secure, but boy it seemed like a house of cards.

My husband just loves to climb things.

Getting the header beam and the floor and not the sun was not an easy photo to frame.

Then we added a Mike for scale.

We also got the dividing walls in the space above the garage. The photos are starting to get confusing even when I know what I'm looking at.

Boys and their machines.

The sun was so bright this day it was just reflecting off the house wrap. But, I had to see how this was looking from the outside.

Then Mike found a horse shoe. Good luck is definitely coming our way.

This was the first angle you can really see that the new roof line is higher than the garage roof line.

Come back for more progress tomorrow!

Toodles!
